Congratulations Svein, on the birth of your new Shamray Custom Shop guitar (Serial number CS 0010)! We will post pictures of it's construction-in-progress from time to time here in this thread. For the curious, here are the specs on CS 0010: Detailed specification of guitar: Body: Les Paul shape, set neck AA Carved maple top, Korina body Class 5 tone chambers Top colored translucent black, sides and back colored opaque gloss black
Neck: Korina back, ebony fretboard - Slim taper neck profile, 17 degree peghead pitch Opaque Gloss Black back and headstock, Pearloid Shamray "Gibson-style" logo.
two piece at 3rd, 7nd and 12th fret (pearloid), solid block at 15th, 17th, 19th and 21th(pearloid), plastic side dot markers
Earvana nut, strings .009-.011-.016-.024-.032-.042 Sperzel Chrome locking tuners Double expanding truss rod LP style truss rod cover
Hardware: Tone Pros Tune-o-Matic bridge and stop piece in nickel Custom made humbuckers (SD JB bridge, SD 59 neck), nickel covers, chrome mounting rings 4x Dimarzio pots (2xtone, 2xvolume), Chrome knobs 4x mini toggle switches chrome, 2 for coil split, 2 for coil tap 1x three-way Gibson style toggle switch for humbuckers, black knob, no switch plate Schaller strap locks (chrome) |

Sorry, its been SPRING HOLIDAYS here in Russia from May 1 to May 11th, (pretty much the whole country has been closed!) and on top of that, my internet connection was broken for several days (and i couldnt get it fixed due to the holidays) i will be in the shop tommorrow and will give a full update tommorrow evening! |

Okay, No chrome strap locks? Any possible replacement (Dunlop, or anything else)? Tusq nut should be cut for .009, .011, .016, .024W, .032W, .042W. If tusq were the problem, mammot ivory can be used. If you were just wondering what saddle meant, that is the norwegian word used for nut (I has in a hurry when I wrote it, so the error slipped through, sorry.)
